Following the announcement by the British government to introduce a two-week quarantine for people returning from Spain, we wanted to clear up a few things for you and help you in continuing your search for your dream holiday home, a place to relocate or investment property.
The peak in COVID-19 cases in Spain are in Aragon and Catalunya areas. The cases in the Costa del Sol continue to stay very low.
Estepona, Marbella, Mijas, Fuengirola and Torremolinos recorded 115, 438, 95, 105 and 172 cases respectively since the beginning of the pandemic of which 4, 17, 4, 5 and 5 were in the last 14 days respectively. Estepona, Marbella, Mijas and Fuengirola, have recorded 4, 15, 4, 3, and 8 deaths since the start of the pandemic respectively.
As many of you will know, we have been working really hard here on the coast to make sure this special place is safe for us and our visitors. We have been wearing masks to enter shops and offices since our lockdown finished and we have been using hand sanitiser every time we enter any of these establishments, and bars and restaurants. We now wear masks anywhere we go to limit any spread of the virus.
